We're off to the 135th Dimboola Regatta and staying at the historic Glenwillan Homestead!
The 135th Dimboola Regatta and the Head of the Wimmera are fast approaching, any they've got a new floating pontoon! The weekend is the first club regatta for the rowing season and it is a great opportunity for new and old members, partners and friends to come together on the beautiful banks of the Wimmera.
Each year we stay outside of Dimboola at the historic Glenwillan Homestead which is a Federation style home surrounded by old fashioned gardens, native bushland and wheat farms. #content #rowing
The Saturday evening banquet dinner in the main dining hall offers us an opportunity to swap the zootie for a black tie outfit (interpret black tie in your own style).
Accommodation at the homestead includes the following arrangements:
- Bed (mix of single and double beds in shared rooms) - 2 Nights
- Common Areas (BYO bedding and setup in one of the shared rooms or in the common lounge areas) - 1 or 2 Nights
- Camping (BYO canvas popup residence and setup in the stunning grounds of the homestead) - 1 or 2 Nights
- Banquet Dinner Only (no accommodation) - 1 Night (Saturday)
One of the major club events in the ARGOS calendar where everyone is welcome; come to row a little or a lot, come to support and cheer, bring your partner for a weekend away with friends. It's always a wonderfully fun weekend and this year will be no exception! Look forward to welcoming you to Dimboola and Glenwillan.
Please note this event is for accommodation only. Regatta entries are to be submitted using the standard registration process via the Google Doc and Regatta Secretaries.
