We’re back … and thrilled to officially launch Camp Camp 2025! Our annual trip once again promises a weekend packed with rowing, focused training, socialising, and plenty of fun! We encourage all Argos to come along, embrace new challenges, and connect with fellow club members; both familiar faces and new recruits.

CAMP CAMP 2025

When: 5:00 PM, Friday 19 September – Sunday 21 September 2025

Where: OEG Camp Jungai and Lake Eildon

ACTIVITIES

Rowing sessions, weather permitting, will be held at one of two fantastic locations:

  • Lake Eildon (near the Spillway): Known for its vast open waters, offering plenty of space for long, uninterrupted rows.
  • Jerusalem Creek: A more sheltered but equally scenic location, perfect for technical drills and honing technique.

In addition to training sessions meticulously planned by our coaches, get ready for a diverse range of fun and relaxing social activities, organised by the talented Argos social team. It’s the perfect chance to unwind, have fun, and connect with your club mates.

Further details, including the full camp schedule and any further updates, will be shared via a dedicated Slack channel.

All boat allocations for the weekend will be made by the coaches. As part of registration, you’ll be asked to outline your training goals so we can tailor the program to help you get the most out of your weekend.

We’ll be staying at the excellent OEG Camp Jungai, 475 Rubicon Rd, Rubicon VIC 3712.

VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES

Camp Camp wouldn’t be possible without our volunteers! While the organising team has done the heavy lifting ahead of time, there are still plenty of ways you can help during the event; from food prep and transport to setting up the venue. We’ll be calling for volunteers at times, so please lend a hand where you can to help make the weekend a success for everyone.

SAFETY:

Safety is our top priority. Please follow instructions, look out for each other, and don’t hesitate to ask for help if needed. Qualified First Aid Officers will be present as part of our safety plan.

INCLUSIVITY:

This event is for everyone in our club. If financial, social, or other circumstances might prevent you from attending, please reach out to Oskar at social@maqrc.org. We’re here to help make sure everyone can be part of Camp Camp 2025.
