Camp Camp is back in 2024! Our annual trip is the perfect kick-off to the 2024-25 rowing season — a weekend full of rowing, training, socialising, and fun! Come along, try something new (like the infamous capsize drill), and get to know your fellow club members, new and old.
CAMP CAMP 2024
When: 5:00pm Friday 13 September, 2024 to Sunday 15 September, 2024
Where: Nagambie Caravan Park & Nagambie Lakes Regatta Centre
Theme: Strokes and Sashes (a fun and glamorous pageant theme)
ACTIVITIES
Lots! The club coaches are preparing a two-day program of rowing activities that will take advantage of the Goulburn River and Regatta course, across all boat types and skill levels, with plenty of opportunities to try something new in a safe and supportive environment. The program of rowing will be delivered by our coaches to registered Camp Camp participants. All boat allocations are made by the coaches, and in the registration section, you'll be asked what your training goals for Camp Camp are so we can plan to achieve them with you.
The organising team has been busy putting together a schedule of social activities across all three days of the camp, where you'll be able to relax and have fun with your club pals, new and old. One of the highlights will be our Runway Show where you can showcase your pageant-ready looks. Get creative with your outfits and enjoy the fun of strutting your stuff!

VOLUNTEERING OPPORTUNITIES:
The organising team have volunteered their time to plan and prepare Camp Camp 2024. There is still plenty to do during the event to make it a success and enjoyable for everyone, from helping with food prep, transport, venue setup, etc. The team will be calling out for help. Please do put your hand up and give some of your time when you can.
SAFETY:
As always, safety for our members is paramount. Please follow instructions, look out for each other, and ask for help if you need to. First Aid Officers will be in attendance as part of our safety management plan.

This event is inclusive of our entire membership. If there is a financial, social, or other barrier that might prevent you from attending, please contact Dan (president@maqrc.org) to discuss how we can help get you to Camp Camp.
